Brick and Thistle Farms:
The Summer Kitchen Cottage at Brick & Thistle Farms in Archbold features a bedroom and a bath, front and back porches and lovely views of the countryside. Located in the 1896 summer kitchen used by the original farm owners, the building has been converted into a comfy and cozy place to stay with the original wood floors, open beam ceilings, a restored plaster and lathe and wall, old oak doors and woodworking too! In the bathroom you'll find traces of historic wallpaper, carefully stripped to showcase the layers of history of this charming cottage.You'll also find a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker and coffee too for your use. The cottage is adjacent to the main house at Brick & Thistle Farms. The owners, Chris Rupp & Dean Richardson are happy to suggest places to visit and even have bikes for guests to borrow.
